It can be hard to find a parking spot. Often (especially on weekends) there are some cars which double parked by people who want to park less than a 1/4 mile from their apartments.

It can be noisy on the weekends, so I would recommend getting a "lake" (its more like a scummy pond), which will quiet things down. Also live on the east end of the complex as it seems a little tamer. Living on the top floor also helps.

There is dog crap everywhere, so stay off the grass.

Safety/crime is the real problem of the complex. There have been break ins. I have seen people walking around with pistols in their hands. I hear gunshots on a regular basis. However, I still feel safe enough to walk around here alone at night. I have a commonly stolen car type, and haven't had any problems, save a ding in the bumper, probably because of skateboarders.

I had neighbors which brought ants and roaches. I thought it was bad until they moved out when they all swarmed my apartment. The exterminators came several times, but I still see the occasional roach.

The maintenance is the best part. They are prompt and fix things, at least to working condition. My biggest complaint is the lack of insulation. A/C drives up the electric bill.

The staff isn't the greatest, but then again, neither is this place.
