I am unfortunately going on my 3rd year living here. My boyfriend is in med school and this is the most convienant and well priced for our situation right now, other wise we would NOT renew our lease. 7 months and counting!!! I am extremely unhappy and feel totally unsafe living here! I agree with the others that the managment company has changed multiple times since we livied here; can't seem to keep up with it. Recently they started construction on the exterior of almost all the buildings "saying they were old and need reinforement." If you saw the mildow and rebuiliding being done, you would run! I recommend driving around the complex a couple times. Not to be judgemental, but you can just tell by seeing the majority of the people who live here. I recently took a class on gang acitivty in Orlando with the OPD and learned that this particular area is one of the highest gang activity prone areas around! and you surely can tell! We have already had the neighbors across the way been evicted and we sware there is drug activity going on below us, so we'll see that situation. Lots of crime! For example: My boyfriend's car was stolen. Our friends that moved out had both of their cars broken into. There are holes punched in the walls at the gym. I woke up one night to someone being arrested outside my window. I was at the pool one day and two strange men walked up and started peeing, yes peeing on the wall next to the pool. I do not feel safe here!!!!!! There is police acitivity quite frequently around here. They claim they have a security officer that patrols at night, let me tell you never see him! and they wouldn't give a # to contact him if need be. what help is that. We have called the OPD for multiple issues and they rarely come when called for petty stuff like parties late at night that an on site officer could deal with. and the "state of the art gym" they advertise, what a joke. NONE of the eqiupment works properly!! and I have complained multiple times to get it fixed and they say it's just not gonna happen right now. Trust me I could go on and on about why you should do youself a favor and not live here! Everytime I walk outside here I cringe! like I said our count down is on!!
