I have lived here for 5 months and it has been such a headache. They got me with the 2 months free rent but believe me being cheap can come out to cost you more. I have mold growing in my bedroom and my livingroom I have told management and they said that I was to get another apt. and Im still waiting. They apparently sold the complex and Im afraid that they have no clue of what Im talking about. I have roaches and ants. They had some renovations done over the summer months on the outside of the buildings and the demolition went through my bedroom walls. When I went out there and told the people to take a look at what had been done to my apt they said it would get fixed as soon as htey finished outside. Well it took them 1 month to fix and me going into the office like 5 times. I can say that the old manager was helpful and at least seemed to care about my complaints. But the last manager was a lady who was here for 2 months and any of her promises are out the door and now we have another lady and who knows how she'll be. The maint. guys are okay. I supervisor is nice and all the guys seem nice. The buildings are old and look gross but Ive walked around the area and it turns out that all the apt. communities are the same if you look closely. I have not had any problems with safety or breakins so far. Although I have seen the US Marshall come to the building next to me to look for someone. And we do have a florida police guy living in the complex. Hes okay i believe he also works here as our security but I only se him going to work. The pond in the back area is just that a pond and the park ofr the kids is never used I think that its too small. We have 2 pools and they seem to be maintained well. And we do have the landscapping guys come like 2x a week or so. Ive just had such a bad ex. with my apt and just hate it. But reading reviews for other apts. I wonder if not all com. are the same or amybe worse that this one. Rent here is not cheap but not over the top expensive either. The gym sucks and the tennis courts are all old looking not well maintained. They could do mere to make it look better. Also the laundry facilities are not that great some of the machines dont work and the one facility that is in the building were you play inside tennis or something looks dangorous you could get killed or raped there and noone would know about it. overall this place sucks. Im not used to living in apt. communities I come from up North and Im used to living in apt homes where its only 3 apt per building or 6 and its just different from these out here. But then I look at the other places and I supose they will suck too. At least here ive never ahd maint. ppl break in and they are nice and then the one gorl at the office is nice shes the spanish lady, the other one looks like she had no clue and then the ass. manager is very sweet and nice like I said the new manager looks like shes a bit nasty i heard her talking over the phone and was not pleasant. Lets see how long she lasts.5 months 3 managers and 2 different office staff ppl. I would not recommend it but you do as you like. The 2 months free rent looks good but you still have to pay for 12 months rent so total you live here 14 months. Oh and parking after 6 sucks you have to walk like 5 buildings to get to yours because there is no parking.
