We moved here because the model was immaculate. The rooms are huge, the amenities are good, and the pricing is decent.

When we moved in, it was a whole different story.

The first time I walked in the door, I came upon the worst hellhole I've ever seen in my life. The carpeting in the main area was not laid down (or even there), it was just padding. The rooms were carpeted, but it was the most disgusting carpeting I've ever seen in my life. I don't know what the people before me did to it, but it was stained beyond belief. I wouldn't walk on it in my sneakers, much less barefoot.

On top of the carpeting being gross, the place HAD NOT BEEN CLEANED before we moved in. There was TRASH everywhere (I'm talking water bottles, wrappers, etc, etc) all over the apartment. We had to clean it ourselves.

Our kitchen was disgusting. Aside from being dirty, there was no rotating plate in the microwave. The stove burners had caked on food, and the fridge stank.

The walls had not been painted. There was writing on them, there were holes, there ripped off paint. It was disgusting.

The couch was black. Unfortunately, it was supposed to be zebra (more khaki than black). It smelled. We refused to sit on it.

Maintenance did nothing, until we called for hours and hours straight. They only wanted to clean the carpeting, but my parents threatened legal action if they did not replace all of the carpeting. It took the whole weekend to get them to relay the carpet where there was none, and another few days to get them to relay the carpeting in the rooms.

The noise is HORRENDOUS, and management does nothing. The people both upstairs and downstairs are horrendous, playing their loud music until 4:30 am every single night. And I'm not talking loud as in, gee, I can hear the words to your song. I'm talking loud as in the things atop the desk in my room RATTLED. In fact, I had a candle on top of my TV and it fell off the TV and broke due to the noise.

I've had to call the police, but that only stopped the other residents for the night. It's getting ridiculous. We still don't have that rotating microwave plate, and our apartment is still pretty messy from before we moved in.

On top of this, the apartment charges more than any other apartment complex in college housing, and it's also the crappiest.

You pay for 12 months rent when you are only allowed to live there for 11 months. Mail is lost constantly, and the office staff certainly do not make an effort to make you feel welcome in any way.

My CA accused me of being a liar when I complained about the people below me (because he knew them). He wouldn't do anything until I made him come to my room and stand in there while they played their music. He sent them a 7 day letter, which was completely pointless.

This place is trash. I don't care what they tell you, don't live here. I will regret it every minute that I am here.
