This is your typical college apartment. If you don't mind parties any given night of the week that can last until the wee hours of the morning and the overflow spilling down the stairwell then this is the typical college apartment and for you. The apartments are very spacious, condition of apartments are typical of a college complex, the carpets are nasty and the furniture is getting that way too. We just shampooed everything ourself before settling in. Even after the hurricanes carpeting has been replaced at least in the living rooms but very cheap carpet that won't last a year or two. The place was a mess when we went to move in people were not moved out and one bedroom someone was living in who was not suppose to be there but she promptly left and we did not say anything to the managment and the cleaning people came while we were there and did an average job cleaning we just went over it again. Although pets are not allowed you will see that many have dogs living in their apartments so the complex might as well allow pets and collect their pet depoist and monthly pet rent and provide doogie cleanup bags on property. Security is a real concern, check with the sherriff department I really do not want to go into that but their has been 2 major problems this year and is of real concern and espceially with these two major concerns the gates are still left open all night. Don;t know where the night security is especially the night I had to call police dept at 4am in which they had many calls already and were in route. Parking can be very difficult at time but I am sure it is like that everwhere so not going to complain about that and parking is lit adequately. As far as maintence issues we just take care of them ourself and don't bother with management although they have not had a major issues at this time. This is not the place for my daugher or her room mates and will be leaving. You get what you pay for and now I am willing to pay a $100 to $200.
