I have lived at Science Drive for three years now and recently renewed for a fourth year. Since living here, my carpet has been cleaned every year, my walls got repainted in August whenever old roommates moved out, and everything has kept in good condition. The location cannot be beat considering it's so close to UCF and the events held by the staff are pretty fun (fondue night being the best!). Management has always been pretty helpful whenever I have any issues and maintenence is quick to respond to any work orders that I have called in.
I have spent a lot of money living here the past few years, but you get what you pay for, and I consider my choice for college housing as well worth it. I'm sure there are some other good options for housing out there, but I'd have to say Science Drive is my first choice. This place is way nicer than these people make it seem!

Anywhere you live there's the potential for good and bad experiences. It's important to know that this reviewer put every single rating as high as it goes??????5 out of 5 everything. That doesn't seem real, and it's not. I regrettably lived there for two years and regardless of what you think of the office staff (they're absolutely horrible) or the maintenance (they're quick, but not very knowledgeable), the parking is absolutely atrocious. Giving The Village a 5 for parking is clearly a red flag that this reviewer can't be trusted. Read my review, which is much more realistic: http://www.apartmentratings.com/rate/FL-Orlando-Village-at-

You act like every other apt around here doesn't have the same stuff going on. I don't deny that crime happens, I just don't blame the apt on crime. Its orlando that's the issue, having a ghetto area next to ucf doesn't help, but if you're a student you have no choice but to live near the school.

funny how you don't mention the crime rate. If you lived there three years you know of the shooting, multiple rapes, and that one car that sat on cement blocks from low-lives stealing the wheels and rims. Not trying to be rude but all the glitters is not gold. The apt itself is nothing special, but not horrible. Safety is a issue and you are lying to yourself if you think otherwise.

i agree - the apartment complex doesn't cause the crime, it's just the city we live in. but they could do a little more to help ensure the safety of the people who are paying to live there.
