I was fortunate that my apartment was located in the center of the complex, but others had a far walk, and if you don't have a car (and are carrying groceries) your taxi can't go any further than the front office (middle of the complex). So I hope you like walking 200 yards and up 2-3 flights of stairs to get your apartment.

Everytime one of our roommates left (and your roommates will leave), they changed the locks. This was a "security precaution", but all it meant was that you had to hope the office was open when you go home from your shift, otherwise, GOOD LUCK GETTING IN! (Sorry, someone who's going back to Seattle, Washington isn't a "threat", they're gone!)

There was constantly an ant problem in our apartment. They sprayed, and they'd come back anyways. They were coming from the front door.

Washers and Dryers are constantly broken (mostly by the lawn maintenance staff who pressure wash them'), and machines to get laundry cards charge a "security deposit" for your card. -_-" So if you lose your card, you're out $3 whatever is on there.

We'd get told to "clean" to prep for our new roommate, only to have ANOTHER cleaning crew come behind us and clean again' (No, I don't get it either.) Might I also add that they aren't that good as we'd found trash under the couch on our first day from the previous tenants.

Security is great for keeping people out, but suck at making certain that those already staying there aren't causing problems. One kid got stabbed on the Basketball court during my program. People would also have LOUD parties all night long, YELL outside during all hours of the night, but nobody would tell them anything about their behavior. (I personally NEVER saw security deal with a situation at the complex other than when a BUS DRIVER complained about some CPs on his bus.)

The pools are always busy, and the gym is always full with either broken equipment, or none at all. (They actually had about 200-300 phone books in there when I first tried to start going.)

The buses don't run on time (ESPECIALLY the PI bus), and it's not uncommon for them to not even check your ID when you board, so who know's who's getting into your apartment complex.

The walls are PAPER THIN! I learned to sleep with ear plugs while I was there because the noise from our living room/outside/upstairs apartment was atrocious, and I was in the farthest bedroom from it! The apartment above us was also INCREDIBLY noisy. It got to the point that we'd crack jokes about what they were doing up there. (Bowling, Sprinting, Gymnastics, etc all came up.)

It's within walking distance of Walgreens, Wendy's, Chick-fil-A, Put-put Golf, and Cici's Pizza, but other than that, there really isn't much else around unless you want to walk a 1/2 - 1 mile. And there's a lack of adequate lighting after dark, so if you're a girl, I would recommend walking alone.
