I personally wouldn't recommend living here - but remember I speak from personal experience and it doesn't mean it will happen to you - just that it can. Take this as another opinion. The office staff was great - very and nice helpful. The nightmares began when we got the keys. We were living with my husband's parents and working full time so we had the weekends to move which is what we started doing - we would take things in the evenings in a few trips. On one of the first days we notice the bad roach problem - they were everywhere (keep in mind these apts are very old) but I couldn't get rid of them and we didn't even have food there yet. I personally hate and am disgusted by roaches - not that anyone likes them :o) I hope. So we placed a few pest bombs in the apt and left for a couple of days. When we came back, we aired it out and continued to move. When we closed the windows again, we noticed the A/C wasn't cooling at all - called the office and they said they'd fix it. Someone supposedly came out but we never saw any sign and it still felt warm even after hours of blasting the thing at 50F. Now this right here was and still is my biggest issue. This is a community that allows pets - no problem - I have an indoor cat and want to eventually get a dog. The first night we "stayed" at the apt went like this - we picked up our daughter thinking we would actually sleep "home" so there we were. We had brought out a mattress into the living room and were setting up the TV so we could watch it until we got the bedrooms set up. As I'm sitting on the mattress, I notice little black things jumping on and off my white socks - FLEAS!!! I freaked! There were so many - we figured the bombs must've brought them up through the carpet fibers because we were told the carpet was new. The apt was infested - and I know infestation. I'm glad we hadn't brought our cat over yet but now I was worried our things might carry some back home with us. We ended up throwing away the mattress and anything else I felt could be contaminated. Believe me when I tell you it wasn't a small problem or a few here and there - at one point I counted about 25 or so on my socks alone! I grabbed my daughter and we left that same night - we never got to sleep there. The office wasn't so nice anymore. After much fighting and going back and forth, we were finally let out of our lease but please don't ask me how much it costs us. They offered another unit but I was afraid we'd have the same issues - roaches, dirty bathrooms, leaky faucets or worst... fleas. The neighbor below us had seen us move in and saw us move out - she said she'd had that problem for years. Nope! Not me! So we moved on.
I read on another review that this isn't meant to bad mouth the apt complex but provide for others a picture other than the one they try to sell you when you walk into the main office.
So as they say, buyer - or in this care, renter - beware and good luck in your search.

I as well thought it would be nice to and it was for the first year. Now the parking lot is in need of repair the apts need to be sprayed by a professional exterimator. (to keep roaches from coming back) They want to condo these buildings (hahaha) good luck old building over priced and small for the money. And no washer and dryer in unit (can rent for less than it cost to do laundry each week.) Most of all to old and not worth asking price. This is there answer to repairing the apts. dumb move.
