trying to be a mid-level apartment but not quite there

Had many problems, which took many requests to get fixed. The worst of which was repeated mold - still a recurring problem. The manage is very defensive. Their hello is friendly, but any questions of complaints are treated very defensive - even when put as nice as possible.. We were good tenants: always paid on time and didn't make a lot of noise.). I would say they are lacking good "customer support". It's worth the price we payed, but unfortunately it is no longer that price.
In order to deal with office staff, if you want something fixed, give it to them in writing (a letter if possible). After doing this our problems that we reported multiple times were finally fixed well. They seem to be improving service as the price increased, but I will wait to increase my review until it has been awhile.
Another negative incident: They change plans to paving of the roads, and sent out notice only one day before, stating that cars not moved will be towed at owners expense. That is totally unorganized and unprofessional. People out of town had no chance at avoiding this. Their notice of the paved roads in the first place was only a week or two.. stuff like this should told the residents at least a month in advance, or don't tow at owner's expense..
