There are much better apartments in the area than Waterside (Berkshire, Seabrooke, Bishop Park, Calibre Bend, and Sutton Place). There is a good amount of crime here because they don't give a ---- about your criminal or rental history, my roommate's car has been broken into, but I have been lucky. Here is the worst part, the walls are ridiculously thin. I understand that apartments can never be perfect and you will here you neighbors at any place, but I live in a first floor and every time my upstairs neighbor walks around I hear every footstep over the television, stereo, conversation, and the wood creaking will wake me up in the morning if he gets up before I do. My neighbor and I are friends, he can't help it and he isn't heavy, these apartments are just that cheap. So if you do decide to live make sure you get a top floor!!! Also when you pay your rent, make sure to personally hand it in and get a photo copy of the payment and have a staff member sign it. They will loose your check and make you pay late payments that are 85 bucks initially and $25 a day after that (not to mention if you want to be safe put a stop-payment the check which cost me another $25). Oh yeah I almost forgot about the most extremely worst situation I have ever dealt with at an apartment complex. Guys listen up!!!! If you get a two bedroom apartment at this place with a roommate, your life will suck!!!!! There is a vent that connects the master bedroom to the second bedroom (The rooms are right next to each other). The purpose is for return air I was told, so when we filled it up will books and a blanket his room would get hot, but even with the books and blankets he can still hear EVERYTHING I do and I can hear EVERYTHING he does. That is why I would never ever live in this place again.
