I read all the complaints about this place - I do agree that there are too many children roaming the street at all hours with no regard to moving motor vehicles. I also agree that there are too many thugs outside making trouble.

The main issues I have with Wentworth are:

1. Noise. Forget being able to sleep on Friday and Saturday night. People like to party into the night at Wentworth. In fact, Wentworth comes alive at night. The apartment walls are thin and non-insulated. Noise travels right through the walls. The single pane windows cause much of the noise. People like to slam their doors at all hours of the day and night. It all boils down to a lack of consideration for others.

2. Price. You may be getting a deal with a low rent here but you will more than pay for it with electricity and gas. My most recent electric will was $175 and the gas bill was $60. We cook a lot, but we are not home a lot either and we keep the AC on 77. It is a lack of insulation.

3. Crime. I have had my car dented and scratched in the parking lot...which is not really crime, but I have seen many cars get broken in to around here. This is not the type of place to walk around at night unless you are armed.

4. Friendships. People are not friendly at Wentworth. In fact, people are downright hostile.

5. The parking lot. Kids play in the street all day and night. Why' Because Wentworth won't provide them a place to go. Their only choice is to go into the street. Kids walking to the school bus have no sidewalk to get through the fence area. They HAVE to walk in the street.

6. Drug dealers. Yes. There are drug dealers about. They congregate around the basketball court. I have seen drugs deals take place in broad daylight with a police car parked right next to the 'deal'. The cops do nothing except get free rent.

7. Storms. The buildings are not well built. In fact, they are beginning to dry rot in places. Go and see if you want to say it isn't true.

Overall, people are at Wentworth because they can't afford anywhere else. IF you have the right neighbors, and they are long-term residents, the stay here could be pleasant. If on the other hand you get the college kids or drug lords as neighbors, good luck. All complexes have some sort of issue. Wentworth's primary issue is noise.

This amazes me that people post comments that have lived here for 4 years or more and its so terrible but you keep staying again and again?! It's not common sense that you would choose to remain somewhere. Heres a theory~MOVE~it's your choice and right. I personally have positive experience living here and find these postings highly unfair and mostly unfounded. Why are they always and continually highly occupied...Please people put things in perspective and look at facts and common sense.
