The WORST!

Years at this apartment: 2003 - 2006
My husband and I moved to Orlando suddenly, and needed a place immediately. I wish we hadn't been so eager to have a place to call "home!" The only staff member worth a darn left recently, and left a bunch of incompetent buffoons, who don't care about anything but collecting the rent checks on time. The community started to get a make over, but not even half way through, the painters left and now our community is left with a few ugly yellow buildings with green or orange trim. The rest are the same "dead" grey color they were when we moved in! The work started almost a year ago! The pool is usually crowded with unsupervised children, and the hot tub, seldom works, and when it does, is usually overrun with the same unsupervised kids apparently using it as a bath tub because their apartments don't have running water! The septic tank has backed up into our apartment in the middle of the night three times in the three years we've lived here. You just haven't lived until you've walked barefoot in other peoples waste in the middle of the night! I've got a lot of other concerns as well ranging from complaining to AIMCO corporate and not hearing back at all, to being lied to about repairs that were negotiated prior to signing our lease that were not done the way I was told they were going to be done, or not done at all. Add to it the recent frequent automobile break-ins, bad lighting, neighbors who don't pick up after their dogs, and who are generally dirty themselves, and you've got yourself one dumpy apartment complex! The cons of living in this community far out weigh the pros and you can bet that I'll be moving when my lease is up this year. I can't wait to leave!
