Honestly all apartment complexes come with the good and the bad. The good of Barrington is that it is very quiet and the apartments are very nice and huge. My power bill, and water bill are low and everything in my apartment is nice and new. I have personally never had a problem with maitenance. When i had moved in there was a few things that needed to be fixed and they were there within an hour and fixed everything to my liking. Also the complex is very good about background checking their tenants which other complexes do not do. If there is anything mildly shady on your credit or rental history they will not let you move in.

The downsides of this complex are that parking is rough, and often times things happen very slowly.

I will take walking a few more blocks to my apartment and having to fix the toilet myself over loud parties and obnoxious criminal neighbors any day.
