Sorry this is long, but it is worth reading:

I moved in to Barrington a year ago. The office staff has always been rude and overall completely useless, with the exception of a few young people. There has always been some type of drama in this complex, whether it's the parking, the loud cars, maintenance men or construction; it has been a nightmare that unfortunately is a rite of passage in Orlando.
At one point I was even threatened by one of the ghetto maintenance men because he didn't want me "looking at him"....his own "mamma didn't even look at him that way". Incidents like those are what led me to carry a concealed handgun while living in the complex.
The buildings do not have any type of gutter system, which is why they are all rotting (bear in mind that these apartments were built in 2001). The last month that I was there, a notice was sent by management stating that the complex was going to be "overhauled". What this meant was that 30 -------- would be pounding on the walls and roof's of the buildings everyday (including Saturdays) for approx. 6 months: according to the complex's estimates. Residents were instructed to cage all animals, remove all wall hangings, and to move furniture from windows as they would be torn out and replaced.
We were also advised that the complex would not be responsible for any damages caused by the remodeling - showing an obvious ignorance of vicarious liability statues in the state of Florida.
I am now spending more money for a another apartment while I'm stuck here in O (get me out of here)- town, but I sleep better at night knowing that I have left the problems that habitually plague Barrington Place Apartments behind.
I know that it can be tough trying to find a new place and trying to filter through the rants and raves of disgruntled tenants and fake accolades posted by sneaky apartment managers. One thing is for sure; I have in no way exaggerated my experience (although all 30 -------- weren't on each roof at one time). If you are considering Barrington Place Apartments, know that you have been truly and whole-heartedly advised otherwise.

This note it to "finally out!" As a Mexican let me say this, G.L.A.D. you are out of there, and I pitty the next complex that gets you as a tenant. It sounds like you are an idiot and a bigot! Next time you mention someone banging on walls, make sure you don't mention an ethnic group, etc. Like us -------- are responsible for loud noises and jerks like you! - Margarita
