I just moved out of Barrington after living there for a year. It wasn't too bad, and I've lived in many different apartment complexes. I never heard my neighbors (but then again I was on the top floor). The prices were a little pricy but the place is nice and I was never scared. The pool was closed for random reasons occasionally, but that can happen anywhere you go. The gym looks nice but some of the equipment does not work.
The parking is my worst complaint. Not for the people who live there, but the poor visitors. They have two TINY visitor sections (quite a hike for some people) and your guests have to fight for spots. You can always put your car there if you are expecting someone though and just move it when they get there.
Overall, not a bad place to live. You can get a little nicer for your money if you go towards Oviedo or Winter Park, but if you need to be near UCF and have a co-signer its not that bad.
