The good and the bad....

The management at Elmhurst Village was great. They would do their best to accommodate you with any problems you have. They always greet you and they ask you how everything is going with the apartment (they even remembered which apartment I lived in).
The parking at Elmhurst were terrible. At night, I rarely found a parking spot that was remotely close to my building. I usually had to park three or four buildings away, not good for a single female.
As for noise bring your ear plugs, I could hear everything! I could hear car doors shut and their cars beep while they activate their alarms. The steps and the conversations while my neighbors would walk up the stairs. Every foot step my upstairs neighbor took, his tv, his showers, his toilet flush, and even his roommate knocking on the door to ask him to turn his radio down. It wasnt the people that lived around me were incredibly loud. It was the walls, They are so thin that noise traveled through them as if they were not even there.
Elmhurst Village offers a very space apartment. The appliances there were great. Full size washer and dryer, full size dishwasher, a big stove, and even a large kitchen sink. They had great cabinet space.
I moved out of Oviedo and moved in Port Orange. I had to choice to move into Elmhurst sister apartment Lakehurst Village. I choose not to move there because there was more bad then good as far as the building quality goes.
Personally I would not recommend residing at Elmhurst Village. If you are looking for good management that will accommodate you, then this is the place. But if you are looking for a nice quiet apartment, you should look elsewhere. It is way to expensive for what you are getting. If I had to live there again I would chose the third floor with a lake view. That might minimize the noise. But it will not make up for the poor building quality. Best of luck.
