Elmhurst Village presents itself as a luxury apartment complex. This is completely ridiculous. The apartments are the lowest quality I have seen in the area. There is little insulation, the walls in my apartment were cracked, we got water damage during every storm, the noise is unbelievable, and pests were abundant.

The maintenance staff was prompt, but this is the only place I've ever heard of where I needed to call them at least once a week to fix things. Everything broke, and everything broke often.

I lived here for two years. I paid 1169 for a 2/2 the first year. 1209 the second year. I couldn't believe they wanted to up to 1380 the third year. I moved a few miles away and live in a beautiful apartment for $500 / month less than what I was paying there.

But the worst part about living there was moving out. The day we were leaving, the management presented us of a list of 50 things we had to do before we moved. The day we were leaving! The staff is completely incompetent. The list was extensive and claimed that we would be charged exorbitant amounts for not following the list, like $5 per mirror that needed to be Windexed. We cleaned our apartment for 12 hours and we still slapped with a $600 bill. Most was for replacing our carpet, which was in great condition. They really try to rip you off every chance they can.

I urge you, if you are planning to move here, please move a few miles down the road to Winter Park. Winter Park is a lovely area with an abundant of nicer, cheaper apartments.

This person is absolutely correct. When we moved the landlord wondered if we lived here because everything looked untouch. We had charges that was just a dumb. Luckly, I had before and after pictures and used a newspaper to verify date. I won in court. Please take photos of everything with a current newspaper to show date.
