I've lived here for a year and I'll say I've lived in better apartments and much worse. My corner of the complex is very quiet, the neighbors are pleasant if you just take the two seconds it takes to introduce yourself and smile, the apartment (one bedroom) is very large. Carpet and appliances all looked and worked like new. They DON'T have "monthly inspections" like some of people here claim--maybe those people live like pigs so the maintenance guys HAVE to make sure they aren't dangerous or running a meth lab (ha ha). Maintanence folks are super nice, helped me change a flat tire. And when they do come for inspections and repairs, they are respectful and quick and if you, oh I don't know, HAVE A JOB YOU WOULDN'T BE THERE FOR THE INSPECTIONS ANYWAY, MUCH LESS "SLEEPING NAKED". The property is fairly well maintained and there is a wonderful bike/walking path running for miles behind the complex.

The drawbacks: this is low income housing, some of the neighbors ARE unsavoury, the gate never works but when it does it is more of a nuisance and I have seen cops have to wait outside it to get in. I won't go to the pool or exercise room because of the adolescent boys who have nothing better to do than act threatening and get in fights, the office girls can be rude (well, one of them anyway), and the residents are often too stupid to understand the GIANT SIGNS at the trash compactor stating you have to put your garbage IN not ON TOP, so occasionally there is a mess.

I would recommend this place but try to get an apartment as far to the back of the complex as possible. I'll be leaving when my lease is up but only because I'll be going back to school full time and I really want to live somewhere I can have pets.

See I like this review. Both the REAL good and bad. And an open mind about apartments. I've never lived here but I did stay with some friends who did. I've been looking at these reviews... crap about parking and dealing with people with issues, ect. But as you stated, I never really experienced alot of that because my friends lived in the back of complex. Yeah driving in I play chicken with the street children but unfortunately that's all too common in EVERY apt complex. And there's always a place to park next to the apartment they were in. Those inspections were rare so I heard and most of the time no one showed up [or that they noticed since their off at school or work] And yeah, I was considering getting my own apartment there but I really don't like the no pet thing. :(

We lived here 05 - 06 and with the monthly inspections it was rediculous. I woke up one morning to a loud sound in my livingroom...Someone just decided to come in a clean our carpets (for the 3rd time) because "the natural oils" made our socks turn black. I called several carpet companies and there is no such thing as "natural oils" in the damn carpet. Oh and I WAS SLEEPING NAKED!
