This is what happens when you build a new apartment complex for people with a limited income... you always get those who "qualify" financially, but have no class or courtesy for others.

The management is not understanding that the walls of these apartments are about an inch thick and I can hear my welfare neighbor's screaming children playing outside (not in the common area). Instead of taking care of the problem as stated they would when I first moved in, they pawn my complaints off on the courtesy officer... who is sleeping with my neighbor! I was privy to my neighbor's conversation about what a snobby "white girl" I am because I asked her to turn down the music because I had to do homework.

I am really sorry that the majority of people in this complex are in a bad financial situation and that they have to take it out on their neighbors, but these are the type of people that will retaliate against you if you complain that their booty music is too loud.

SO, if you can put up with the inconveniences of ghetto life, promiscuous teenagers hanging out all over the complex, your neighbor who can't get a job and runs a daycare outside of your front door, the management who avoids the problems because they're afraid of retaliation, and the convicted felon fathers of the screaming, neglected children (who visit to beat their spouse and then leave because they don't let felons live there as though it would make a difference), then by all means, choose to live at Mystic Cove.

From the outside, this is a beautiful, brand new complex but you definetly lack common courtesy from the tenants.

Thank you very much. I love the Oviedo area and was thinking about moving into Mystic Cove but after reading your review I've decided otherwise. Thanks for being one of the people that care enough to warn other people of a complex such as this one. Good Luck.

Ok, you know what? I read this review before I moved in and it almost scared me off. But, much to my pleasure, Mystic Cove is a great place to raise a family. As you can see, this person who wrote this review is NOT a people person. Now I can understand how the walls are too thin for you, but come on. Asking someone to turn their music down so you can do homework? That's a joke. Hey, Ms. White-Girl-College-Student, have you ever lived on campus before? If so, then you know things get a lot worse than this, and if not, give it a try and I bet you don't complain about MC. The teens do need to go home, but you go talk to them and tell them that you need them to move from the window and do it with respect and authority in your voice, you get things done. Basically, this person was not ready to be introduced to the "real world." Real world meaning colored folks, folks with kids, and neighborhoods where the walls might not be able to maintain perfect silence. Adjust your expectations, but at least see the place. I gaurantee you'll like it, even if some people think it's a "Crack 'Hood." You need to wake up lady, drugs are everywhere, and this is certainly no crack hood.
