Northgate is the third apartment complex that I have lived in, in the three yeas I have attended UCF. It is by far the worst. I can't wait to get out of here. Here's a list why:

-Deposit is nonrefundable. It's not a security deposit, it's a security payment. You never get it back. I should have realized that was a sign not to live in that $hit hole.

-When I moved in, the apartment looked nothing like the model. The carpets were at least 5 years old and were disgusting and green. I've been there for 6 months and they still haven't changed them. It took me a month to convince them to replace the floors in the bathroom and kitchen since there was mold growing. Thank God an office girl thought one of my roommates was hot, because complaining does nothing.

-Ceiling fans do not come standard. Be prepared to buy your own.

-The ceiling light in the living room isn't over the dining area....or the couches. It's in the middle of nowhere.

-Originally, my roommate and I put down the deposit for 2 out of the 3 rooms in our apartment and they said it was ours and would wait for our third friend to sign. That was until we got a letter in the mail telling us who our third roommate was. Northgate did norhting. We had to make arrangements for the unwanted roommate to move out.

p.s. they did the samething to unwanted roommate and his friends a year before that.

-Don't try to park anytime after 9 pm on any day of the week because the resident lot is full. They don't even provide enough parking for all the residents. So if you have a life, get used to parking in the dirt lot that is a mile walk from your apartment. Don't forget money for the carwash incase it rains and your car gets covered in mud.

-I live on the third floor so noise wasn't a problem for me, but the people below us come up almost everyday to complain.

-The grass is usually cut....right around the time you'd like to still be asleep. There isn't anything wrong with the grounds, mostly because of the forest behind my apartment where we throw all our garbage.

-My roommate's car got broken into. The window was smashed and they tried to steal his stereo. It was half pulled out, so we're guessing something scared them off.

-Stray cats try to walk into your apartment all the time.

-The A/C sucks. The tempature in your living room and bedroom are polar opposites. Fans would help if they provided them.

-The internet sucks. It was so slow I was forced to buy my own from brighthouse. Add another $45 to your rent every month.

-My roommates toilet broke. It took northgate over a week to even come and fix the toilet.

-When northgate replaced the floors in the kitchen they didn't reconnect the water hose to the dishwasher. It took them 3 weeks just to fix that 3 second job.

-The electric cap is so small you go over it every month, even if you go home for winter break for a month and everything is off.

-Everytime I step on my bathtub to take a shower it squeeks and cracks like its gonna break.

-Walls break easy and I can hear everything my roommates do.

-The office staff is clueless. There is only one man in the office that can do anything with any problems you have, except for the fact that he doesn't care about anything you have to say and will do anything to short change you or avoid your problem. Don't bother calling because he is never there,..unless you decide to walk down to the office and find him sitting in his office.

If you still want to live at Nothgate you are CRAZY! I moved there for my friends, it was the worst mistake of my junior year.

You are clearly retarded. Here's a list why: *A deposit is called a deposit because you get it back. What Northgate has is a Resident Life FEE. Which involves... oh, a fee. $ *Who is your roomate? Is he single? ASL *Ceiling fans do not come standard. Whine about it. Now you'll have to save up and buy one. Might be pricey. *Don't you want to light the middle of nowhere? You wouldn't want a dark nowhere, would you? *Poor unwanted roomate. I bet you gave him a complex. I don't think that's very nice. PS, how long did you wait to have that third invisible person sign? PPS: still not a deposit. *As for the parking.. STAY INSIDE. IT'S SAFER. Ew. *If you knew what was wrong, why didn't you fix it? Now that's just plain lazy. *Dont wash your clothes so often. It'll give people the wrong impression. *Lose 20 pounds immediately. *Yeah man, throw a bowling ball at that thing and it's goin down. Good thing your roomates bowl only in the living room. *Northgate loves unhappy residents, that is why they break your walls. They love to see your smiling face and hear you whine. Wouldn't you want to be on the staff of an apartment complex full of angry people? I mean really.
