I lived here for one year, and it was a horrible experience. The office staff is very rude, first off. They do not care about your problems at all. These are the things that happened in the course of a year:

-AC broke weekly... it would freeze and the temp would go up to 85 degrees... maintenance didn't care, and when they did, nothing was fixed.

-Carpets were old and disgusting. When it rained, the water would come in from under our front door and soak the carpet.

-There was a skink in our apartment the first day.

-Horrible roommate matching- I asked for roommates who didn't drink or smoke... I got both. They were a lot older than me as well.

-The visitor lot is all the way in the back... and it is made of dirt.

-The parkinglot floods when it rains... this was one of the WORST things about Northgate... you would drive through like 2ft of water.

-My boyfriend's car was broken into here, in the visitor lot

-There are a TON of stray cats roaming around the place

-After the hurricanes, they never fixed up their buildings... the vinyl siding was peeling off and hanging by a hinge

-Parking is really bad... if you get home after 10pm, you have to park far away from your building.

I am sure that there are *a lot* more things wrong with this place. I wouldn't recommend this place to even my worst enemy.
