I just finished my 4th year at Northgate. I spent 3 in building B and 1 in G. My thoughts are definitely mixed about the complex. The visitor parking does suck. It's only in the back and it's a poorly-lit dirt lot. So you either end up with a ton of dirt or mud on your car or it may get broken into back there. The management is truly awful and will treat you like crap. You will definitely go over your utility allotment frequently.

On the other hand, I think it's one of the better complexes in the area if you're going to live in college style apartments. The location on McCulloch is definitely far nicer than being on Alafaya. The crime is lower than the Alafaya stretch. The complex as a whole is cleaner than most and relatively cheap. I also lived with one of the messiest roommates ever and never had a problem with bugs in our apartment.

Overall, I'd say it's not a great place to live, but you're going to get treated poorly and have problems in any college apartment complex. lGjq8RUBjvsZjkb5ueji
