Let me first preface my comments by saying that all apartment complexes i've ever lived at have pissed me off to no end. Let's face it...nobody likes renting, and the jerkoffs who manage the property more often than not end up screwing you over and squeezing you for more cash. That being said, northgate truly takes it to another level. Seems like there was a change in management during the time I lived there, and all the managers, in my opinion, are still in college at UCF or Valencia! Hey, I have nothing against somebody getting some good work experience, but the level of unprofessionalism and lack of concern for tenants was incredible.

If you move into northgate, be prepared to:

1) Not get your mail on time (if ever)
2) Have office staff laugh in your face and call you a liar when you try to explain that you in fact paid your rent on time
3) Have maintenance staff be super friendly the first few times they meet you while they are scoping out your apartment for goods to swipe later.
4) Be harassed by Seminole County cops on steroids or other hormonal supplements
5) Send up smoke signals or use the pony express instead of the internet, because you can forget about it ever working.
6) Ready for the roach invasion' They are comin for ya. I'm talking huge cockroaches in the kitchen.

All that aside, Northgate does do a couple positive things, like hosting occasional parties at the clubhouse/pool/etc. That is cool. But if you are a dude, be prepared to learn a thing or two in horrible customer service. SEk1KnECheF1ATXbXtrZ

Wow. I wrote this review thinking the shameless cash grabbing was over. Psyche. I just now (3 months after I moved out) got a letter in the mail from a collection agency saying that I owed $179 to Northgate! Seems kind of crazy since the day I moved out I cut a check to the property manager to the full amount left on my balance. Since I moved out on the 8th of the month, they PRORATED that month's rent and billed me, even though it was my scheduled move out date! Not only that, on the front end of my lease, I moved in on the 15th and was charged the FULL month's rent. What gives? Northgate is comin for your cash. And while they're at it, they'll get a collection agency on your @$$ to gouge your credit rating without even notifying you. Boo yah!
