I can't believe some of the reviews I've read here. You're in college now, you can't expect everyone to coddle you and come running at your every whim. If you can take care of yourself, as an independent individual, you'll be just fine. I can't think of anything to complain about that is the fault of Riverwind.


It can be hard to find a parking spot close to your building if you come in late, but there's tons of spots in the extra lot, so its really not that big of a deal.

Sometimes it can get noisy on the weekends, but its student housing, what do you expect' Practically silent on weekdays though.

I feel very secure here. Never heard of any (serious) crimes, and I usually see a cop sitting by the gate at night.

Out of the few times I've had to deal with maintenance or management, I've never had a bad experience. My dryer was broken and they came in a few hours to fix it. I've had a few problems with ants, but I just got my own bug spray and took care of it myself. Not a big deal. I'm a big boy, I don't have to call the office for every little problem.

Furniture is pretty nice compared to some places. The couches in the dorm towers on campus are stiff and uncomfortable, but these are freakin comfy.

Only downside is the cost of rent and the energy cap. Rent $605 now, but it was $560 when I moved in in August, and my roomates are only paying $540. Theres only 3/4 of us and we still went over the power by a few $ in the summer.

Lol I love it when EMPLOYEES try to hate on other people's reviews. I know I don't expect to have someone come running to my every whim but this place doesn't help with anything!!!! Just stop we see through your crap!

You've had better luck than I have apparently. Nighttime security is a joke he's never on the premises. The cops are here more often than the security guard. I've had my car vandalized and saw a kit have the ---- kicked out of him in the middle of the night. Maintenance broke my TV while steam cleaning but Management won't own up to it... The list goes on and on.
