In February 2008 a new management company took over Lighthouse Pointe. These people are definately better than the last "group" they had in here. The new management replies to all work orders submitted. I usually have to wait 24 hours at the most for the maintenance to come out and fix my problem. Then within the week the girls in the office call me back to make sure the work order was done and that everything is working fine. They are very understanding and are willing to work with you to resolve problems. The grounds have definately improved. The old management company had the pool shut down and the new management has it up and running and cleaned on a daily basis. Landscaping is still rough but its getting better. Another thing that is nice is they have "Pizza Day" now every first Wednesday of the month. Papa JOhns comes out for a few hours and sells pizza really cheap for the residents. They have a good resident referral program, and have started sending out Resident Newsletters to keep us all informed on news and activities.
It was bad before, but its definately on the UP AND UP!
I would recommend this place.

I have to disagree with the comment about the new staff in the office, all 3 of the ladies in the office have no idea what in the world they are doing.. You have the leasing agent that tells you one thing turns around a couple days later says another.. Then for the manager VERY SNOTTY!!! I don't know where she came from she needs to go back she is AWFUL and she will also tell you one thing and then tell you she never told you that the next day.. You can find other apartment complexes out there that are more knowledeable on what's going on..

I'm glad they're making changes. Yippee. However, cheap pizza and some new sod isn't going to solve the problems that made me RUN as fast as I could from this hellhole as soon as my lease was up.
