Friendly staff but...

I've lived here two years (2001-2003) so far and I've found the staff to be friendly, and quick to respond when you have a problem. However we got ants so bad that they were falling into our food from the cieling. They sprayed several times but it didn't phase them. The only thing that got rid of them was the free carpet cleaning they gave us at the end of our first year.
A little warning to those who haven't lived in the area. It's the ghetto, it's a nice ghetto but it's still ghetto. Your bicycle or any parts not welded on will be stolen. If you don't lock your car, expect stuff to be missing. Careless drivers can and will (seen it done) back into your car and then leave without doing anything about it.
Also neighbor is nice and quiet accept on weekends when he plays marriachi music as loud as possible, and his grandchildren run up and down the balcony screaming. I had to stop them from knocking on my door every two seconds and running away.
Also the front balcony that gets you to the upstairs apartment on my apartment looks and feels about ready to collapse in a heep of rubble. I would not be surprised if opened my door one morning to find nothing there but a 8 foot drop to the ground.
