Did you know that every staff member who works at Tradewinds Apartments have a copy of EVERYBODY'S apartment key who live in the entire complex and they keep it with them 24/7''' That means that the Managers as well as the mean, creepy serial killer looking Maintenance men (and ANYBODY who happens to live or visit their house after hours) have access to YOU and anything in YOUR apartment ANY time they choose! I found this out the hard way when I caught the Maintenance man acting strange towards me one day (as in giving me the "deer-in- headlights-guilty-look" while talking to some dangerous looking thugs who lived across the parking lot from me. I went inside my apartment and discovered that my ENTIRE DVD movie collection was GONE!!! I went to Management to try to get some results as well as find out if they would reimburse me in some way because I KNEW that that Maintenance man had something to do with it, I KNOW he did... and they turned on ME and defended that guy and told me "maybe one of your friends or your boyfriend stole them from you!" I could NOT BELIVE what I was hearing! I even got in contact with the Property Manager over in Orlando and she was even meaner to me than they were! I tried everything to try and get some answers, even filing a Police report, but absolutely NOTHING was done, even after I told them that some friends of mine who lived there also had had a similar incident with their belongs a week later. (turns out the Maintenance man lived in the apartment right UNDER them!) I just still can't believe what I went through with them regarding this. And all of this happened about a month before I was about to move away from Tradewinds. I had lived there for 2 years and was on what I felt was a "good rapport" with the staff, but none of that mattered when it came to listening to me or siding with the Maintenance man. I lost out big time and I'm still SO pissed about it!!! I lost close to $500.00 worth of DVD's, not to mention my feelings of well being and being safe there as a single woman and they truly proved to me that they could've care less! SROlYjGrgm2VnM-SactV

I am so pissed knowing I almost moved into this place. I am a women who will be alone most of the time. My fiancee works 8 weeks at a time on contract which leaves me alone a lot. I will post my email and if anyone else knows about any other bad apartments in Florida from Daytona down to Melbourne, please please let me know. I will be moving right in an apartment without looking. I cannot come to look because I live in Kentucky and will need to rely on photos and word of mouth. jlthomas42@hotmail.com
