1. Before signign the lease, I was told that my apartment was going to be on the 3rd floor on the building overlooking the pool area. I sign the lease and took the keys and my apartment turned out to be on the 4th floor looking at the parking lot.
2. Before signing the contract I asked about their pet policy. The rental salesperson told me that if I wanted to have a pet on the building, all I had to do will be to sign an form and give them $300 deposit. Based on that information, I signed the lease. I didn't have a pet at the time but I was thinking about getting one. Well, guess what' SHE LIED!!! I brought a pet home because I was petsitting and next thing I know, they gave me a notice demanding the removal of the animcal right away. I went to the office ready to sign the pet form and pay the deposit and basically I was told that the building I moved to was a "not pet" building. I spoke with the manager and told her that I was told by the salesperson that I could have a pet and the manager told me off.
3. One morning I am leaving to work. Got on my car and starting going forward when another car almost hit me! The woman driving the car started to curse and yell to me how she was going to "kick my ass". I got afraid and tried to get out of the parking lot before she did. When I got to the gate and the gate started to open, the woman from the other car got out and headed towards me. This place has no guards and only 1 "security" guard. This woman tried to open the door of my car and spit on my window. I then called their leasing office to report the case and how afraid I was for my safety and basicall, they just said "Too bad, you cannot report it to the police". I told them that if they couldnt keep me safe, I didn't want to live there and they told me that if I wanted to break the lease, I had to pay their charges. I didn't think it was safe for me to live there after I had confirmed and seen my attacker another 3 times on the complex and reported it to the office. I finally decided to break the lease and move out. I moved out Nov. 30 and dropped their keys but didn't pay the penalty and they can sue me for that.
4. Half of the stuff doesn't work.
5. The haven't painted the outside of the buildings in probably 8 years.
6. Is just too ghetto! don't let the leasing office fool you! drive around a little and you will see.

First off, ,there are no fourth floor apartments in the Falls of Pembroke. Secondly, I live here and it is a very quiet and peaceful complex. In fact my teenage daughter complains that it is too "old fogey-ish" because nothing exciting ever happens and there are not people hanging out all over. This is the main reason why we moved here was because it has huge apartments and a quiet community.
