We moved into these apartments about two months ago and came from a different state. We viewed the reviews on this site after we signed the lease (we were transferred, and only had one weekend to find a place) and were terrified that we had gotten ourselves into a bad situation. So far, however, most of the negative reviews have been wrong (at least as far as we've seen). We've lived in some very nice apartments in the past, and this apartment has been the quieter than ones that we've paid much more
for - we can't even hear our neighbors walking above us.
The only problem that I have noticed is with parking- some nights we have to park in the lot for the next building.
Most of the staff that we have talked to have been friendly, with the exception of one (which happened to be the girl that we leased from) that we have been VERY UNIMPRESSED with from the start.
The grounds appear to be well cared for, and the pool and spa are almost always clean - the only time I've ever noticed debris in the pool is maybe the morning after a storm (and we're there at least 3 times a week).
We wanted to rent in Pembroke Pines because it was one of the few areas in Southeast Florida that had somewhat of a midwest feel. We looked at all of the other complexes in the area and chose this one because we saw mostly families here and the grounds seemed nice. At this point we have no regrets.
