I agree with the other posts. I moved out yesterday and I wished I had done so earlier. I've never written malicious posts about anything, but this complex has really made me angry. The only good thing about the complex is the office building, which they use to lure you in.

The the staff is terrible -- they don't understand what customer service means at all. Also, they don't seem to know the rules to the complex either. I would call at different times and different people would give me different answers. Norland is the only nice person around. The complex manager, Vivian, is terrible! She does not care about the happiness of her residents at all. I don't understand how she became a manager of such a sprawling complex. I just ended a call with her describing the issues I had with the complex. She said that since I'm no longer a resident there, my words carry no weight in this conversation. I was enraged.

Also, I called several times about a leak from the washer/dryer and it never got resolved. Come on, for a complex that boasts resort-style living, you should not have to deal w/ a leaking washer/dryer all the time. That problem persisted throughout the year even though I called several times. It eventually developed into a mold issue.

Lastly, I had asked to be moved out on Nov 10th. They said that it's fine to move out in the middle of the month but I would still have to pay until the end of the month! What complex doesn't allow people to terminate their rent in the middle of a month' Money-sucking complex.. grr.

Do yourself a HUGE favor and do not rent from this place. I've rented in much less luxurious complexes in my lifetime and this is the absolute worst place I've lived in.

I agree with you totally this place they call the Falls of Pembroke has more thugs and shoot outs and shootings plus home invasions then you want to shake a stick at. Plus they over charge you for everything and the staff needs to go back to business school the left hand doesn't know what the right hand is doing. I could go on an on about things here listen I am not big complainer but listen to the facts and all are true stories. My advice dont ever go in keep going find another place don't waist your valuable time.
