Pembroke Cove Apartments

From time to time I visit this site about Pembroke Cove. I guess I do it to justify my own complaints that I had while living in Pembroke Cove. Thankfully I left that snake pit but I'm extremely angry that I had to leave. It's like paradise lost!
Aren't there housing laws in the state of Florida' Who is the Mayor and why hasn't anything been done' Hasn't anyone taken Shoma Homes to task for their butchery of Pembroke Cove' I no longer live in the state but I would gladly come back to run for an office that had the power to fine Shoma Homes over the deplorable conditions that have taken place since their acquisition of Pembroke Cove. I would make sure to restore Pembroke Cove to what it once was!

I so agree with you. Ive been living there for almost 3 years and PC is a shell of what it used to be. Cold, uncaring and rude office staff. They used to clean the carpet once a year as an incentive to renew. No longer. The cheap carpet needs to be replaced and they wont even touch it. The pool is always filthy. There published phone number is the original rental office number that later changed to the sales office number. If you are out and need to contact them make sure you take their new number with you as you will not be able to reach them. Even so, when you do call, you cant even leave a message. The phone just rings and rings. Im now having a issue that needs to be discussed with the manager. She leaves at 5 so I have been told that I need to take time off work to see her. That was said so incredible callously and rudely it boggled my mind. It used to be such an wonderful place to be. Needless to say, I wont be renewing my fourth year. |

do you think you have problems with theses snakes; i rented there before shoma homes took over and it was perfect. i left just when they were coming in but came back two years later;what a mistake i could not wait for the six months to be up to break my lease. it cost me to get out but i am happy to pay than to live in that pig pen and the nasty office staff.first night in the apartment the AC was not working and u r right no one to call after hours, that is until my husband call them all the way from iraq and told them he would report them, then suddenly there was a after hours number.my washer and dryer would stop working while washing or drying, the rust on it should have warned me. my toilet, sink and bathtub was rusted and leaked. the tiles were cracked patched holes in the wall that some 2 year old patched (well thats what is looks like). the appliances were so old it cost me a heffty some every month in electrical bill. i would never ever ever ever recommand this pig pen to anyone. did i mention at the end of my contract after returning the apartment spotless better than they give it to me, i was out of town and ask to have the final showing ONE DAY LATE THEY CHARGED ME $54.00 FOR THE DAY AND $2.00 FOR THE WATER; YES THEY DID THEY HAD THE GALL. my advice check everything before you sign and if they cannot show you the apartment you are going to live in before you sign (like they did to me ooh new carpet being installed, it is considered a construction zone) WAIT DO NOT SIGN you will save yourself a whole lot of money.
