overtown moves to pembroke pines From: giz23@yahoo.com Date posted: 7/22/2006 Years at this apartment: 2005 - 2006   I have been living in building 12 for 1 1/2 yrs. i absolutly hate it. it was okay at first. but as i sat and read the reviews everything is true. from the painted bathtubs to the painted counter tops in the kitchen. when i moved in everything was fine. after the year mark everything fell apart. my ac leaked and my apartment flooded. the office expected me to keep the same nasty ass carpet. i had to go to the office and yell at tem while new people was trying to fill out applications before i was able to get new carpet. i was promised new paint when they were suppose to be remolding. never got it. suppose to get new tile because the tile is cracked and the grout is not there anymore. never seen that. the fridge is blowing out a stink smell and they have not come to fix it. in the bathroom you can tell that they don't clean before you move in there they just put caulking over the mold in the creases of the bathtub. they alo put caulking over all the creack in the bathtub. now the caulking is worn out. the people uptairs from me has a leak from there toliet and now i can see it in my bathroom. they now have new owners and the place is called san tropez. the people in the office can't speak any english. the maintaince people cannot spake english either. i wish that carol was still here.the old leasing agents was understanding and nice.the garbage oh my goodness i don't even wanna talk about that. all of the other reviews speak for them self with the garbage. i should just go live in overtown and pay alot less then what i am paying now if i want to be in these conditions. this place is a piece of ----. i would never recommend this place. as soon as i find somewhere else i am breaking my lease. my deposit is not worth staying in this hell hole.
