when we first moved in, the neighborhood was nice. we had an onsite manager. the manager still lives on site but will not conduct business outside of the office downtown. after the hurricanes, it was hard to get help from the management and to report damage. we were given a policy book, but the management doesn't abide by the rules in the book. yards are not kept up and this is especially bad after it rains due to snakes because there is no drainage. the speed limit is 20 mph and people drive 30 and 40 mph. there are lots of kids and the speed limit should be upheld. the management also does not uphold the noise ordinance. complaints are made and the response is they can't do anything. they are also slow on repairs. many of the homes still have damage from hurricane ivan and now have more from the more recent storms. they don't seem to care about home repairs. they sure due care about raising the rent every other month. i certainly would not want to move in here now.
