I have lived in Crystal lakes for about three months now, and when the lease is up, Im leaving. I can only discribe the the construction of these places as rickity, mainly due to the fact that when i walk across the floor,(I live upstairs) i hear squeaks and creaks from all corners of the room. God help the people downstairs for i've been told there is no sound barrier between floors. The walls are thin and i can hear my neighbor talking, snoring, and the baby crying whenever im in my bedroom. The AC blows slightly cooled air (When its not frozen up solid inside the coils) and im lucky to get half the burners on my stove to work. Sugar ants are a chronic problem as well. The Laundry facilities are always filthy and the floor looks like its never been mopped once. They have a pool, but its as big as a handicapped parking space. ALso, the lower units on the south side of the complex have a really high noise level from highway 98.

A few good things though, they seem to keep the grounds fairly neat, lots of landscaping, new carpets in the unit i rented and some of the others i saw, and most units have a nice view of an artificial duck pond. People there seem friendly for the most part, Staff seems friendly as well.

you forgot that the staff is ignorrant, they could care less about fixing this trash hole, plus they get you when you leave with false statements about you didnt clean properly when they place was a pig pen in the first place.
