Good and Bad

I have lived here nearly 6 months now and I have found both good and bad things. Good: the units are nice and comfortable. Well maintained grounds. Bad: It takes entirely too long for repairs to the facilities. The gate has been broken more than it has been working. The pool filtering system breaks down and it takes for ever to get it repaired. I never see any pool maintainence being done,( cleaning and so forth) The office staff work the same hours as I do so it is very hard to contact them to complain about anything, not that it would do any good. They sometimes act like they are doing you a favor by letting you live here. I pay an extra $20 a month because I choose not to sign a long lease, but there is no discount for lack of gated security or use of swimming pool. Some people can keep their boats on the property but others are berrated for being there overnight with a boat. The 20# pet limit is not very well enforced either. As a whole it is a good place to live, the residents are friendly and not rowdy. I just feel it is a little overpriced for the attention given to the things they advertise as benefits of the community.
