I recommend staying as far away from these people as possible. From day one I was disappointed. When I showed up, they tried to raise my rent $50 a month from what was agreed upon prior. They claimed it was because new carpet was put in. Trust me, the carpet was so horrible it probably only cost a total of $50. My neighbors smoked and I could smell it throughout my entire apartment, even with several air fresheners. The noise was horrible. People sitting in the parking lot blasting radios was a daily reminder of how unsatisfied I was. The office staff is the worst. They appear to be nice but then care nothing about you when you leave. I moved out a year ago and never received my security deposit. They have recently gotten new owners and I hear they are no better. My buddy calls the manager about every day because he has not received his deposit either. He moved out 4 months ago. She blames it on the owners but I'm sure she never actually calls them. This is NOT a gated community. The gate was recently demolished (at least 2 months ago) by what looks like a speeding 18 wheeler and has not been fixed. The gate never worked the entire time I was there anyway. To sum it up, there are much nicer places that charge about the same within a mile of this place. I highly recommend checking these places out prior to making the devastating decision to stay at the Villas at Jasmine Creek.
