I had a similar experience with this complex. I have not received my deposit back either, I moved out 4 months ago. I screwed up by not getting a copy of my lease when moving in. The manager now appears to be very nice but was extremely unhelpful after I moved out. They were extremely unaccomadating after I said the magic words, "I'm moving out." Thank goodness I did because I also do not want to be associated with any business that treates customers this way. I called pretty much twice a week trying to get my deposit and the manager constantly apolagizes, telling me all these lies about new owners. It is obvious she is unskilled and has no management skills. I reccommend staying away from this complex. Ventilation is poor, I also had many air freshners to kill the smoke coming from next door. They tried to raise my rent because new carpet was put in. They backed down when I told them I was going to leave if I had to pay anything more than the agreed upon rent. Maintenance was ok, the #2 maintenance guy is extremely nice and skilled. The enviornment was not dangerous but I found myself unconfortable in many occasions. There are many apartments close to this one that are in the same price range, I recommend checking them out. They are now called the villas at jasmine creek, the 3rd name change in a couple of years.
