In response to the previous entry regarding breaking the lease and "extorting money", this resident dropped his keys in the night drop slot with no notice. He broke his lease in which it stated that you must give a 60 day notice and a termination fee equal to one month's rent (this is where the 3 month's rent comes from). We tried contacting this resident several times to arrange a payment plan with no response from him and was forced to send his account to collections. We did recieve a letter from his attorney regarding this matter but as soon as we sent our response explaining the above, the case was dropped immediately. We strive to provide superior service to our residents and will work with them the best we can.
