Don't let the gorgeous exterior fool you like it did me. King's Mill spends much more time taking care of it's grounds than it does updating and maintaining its apartments. We had a huge problem with bugs for a while because there was a large crack under the door. We called several times to complain and they would just spray for bugs and never fix the crack. They said it was because out apartment was messy...and it was spotless. When they finally fixed the space under the door the bugs "magically" stopped getting in. Another time maintenence came to fix our toilet and left the bathroom and hallway flooded with gross toilet water when he left. Hmmm what else....oh yeah Danielle also lost our rent checks on more than one occasion and accused us of not paying it. I had to show her where the rent check was cashed on my bank statement for her to beleive me. No, she did not apologize. Plan on saving up for a long time before you move out because they will hit you with every kind of clean up fee they can come up with. So even if you leave the apartment spotless still plan on paying up. Overall, the managers are incompetent and dishonest and they are the reason this gorgeous complex is so unlivable.
