Although this place is at a pretty good price and in a decent location, you get what you pay for!

I lived there for a little over 2 years and from the start there were problems, problems, problems!!

I hadn't even begun to start unloading my boxes from the truck when I noticed a huge ant infestation in the bedroom! I called the landlord and he rudely told me I must have spilled something in the bedroom for them to be there. Excuse me'!!

AC was loud, quit working not once, twice, but three times! It took them as many months to finally fix it!

Dishwasher in the apartment was broken since I moved in and in 2 years they never fixed it!

The carpet had cig. burns, rust stains, and looked like it had never been cleaned since it was built! After repeat carpet cleanings that I did myself, it still was pitch black! I complained, but nothing was ever done. When I finally moved out, they had the nerve to say I damaged the carpet and charged me a 35 dollar cleaning fee!!

Front stair cases are made of old rotting wood and falling apart. A true safety risk! Call the building inspector if you ever move in there!

Management: I agree, doesn't know how to deal with people very well. Rude 9 times out of 10--seems to blame the renters for everything.

Good features: Located near UWF, and many stores. Quiet area (minus the load planes from the airport flying over all day/night), decent apartments inside (upstairs with balcony is a must have!), in a nice, safe neighborhood..I enjoyed mountain biking and jogging in the area.

Bottom line be careful! You get what you pay for!

Well, the glass was certainly half empty for this disgruntled tenant. The ants went away when the sugar did. The A/C was a trouble but was fixed till it stayed fixed. We never knew the dishwasher wasn't working. One can't expect a repair one doesn't complain about. Global renovations occured in 05 just after she left. Please do notice all the good things she says about Malibu Gardens.
