I can't describe enough how terrible this apartment complex is.

The front office is a pain to deal with -- they are complete and utter morons -- and will NICKEL AND DIME you to DEATH. Seriously, they screw you on money any chance they get. Don't expect to get your security deposit back, regardless of the condition of the apartment.

The apartments themselves are so shoddily built their contractor must have been named "Ray Charles and Stevie Wonder, Inc." Seriously, there isn't a level surface in the place. Doors don't shut properly, there are massive gaps in the floor boards (letting in all the bugs.... and you know how great that must be in Florida), and none of the cupboards or counters are flush with the walls.

The landscaping is terrible. Every single time it rains the lawns wash away -- that's because they only use sod and not real grass, and the sod is placed on top of sand, so it doesn't have a chance to take root. Expect sink holes with every rain storm.

Parking is horrendous. They assigned 2 spots per apartment, and gave precisely that amount per building. Therefore, say your downstairs neighbor has two cars and one friend visiting; you are out of luck for a spot. They do not enforce their parking rules; expect to see boats and trailers and semi trucks (I'm not kidding) taking up your parking spots.

They (not surprisingly) have a high turnover rate, so you might be tempted to get an apartment with Marcus Pointe given the housing shortage in Pensacola. For your sake, DON'T DO IT -- especially if you are military. They may have a military clause in their lease, but they find other ways to screw military tenants.

For the record, I plan on reporting them to the Better Business Bureau, the Pensacola Chamber of Commerce, and the military bases, to alert people about Marcus Pointe Grande Apartments. They may not be doing anything illegal, but they still are crooked and unscrupulous.

I believe he is correct it is not a safe place to be since Debbie Smith came to work her .I know her from a previos apartment my self and my husband lived at . she was letgo because she had an affair with a married resident .I moved from there because of bad managment look who shows up. This woman left navarre and married her sister husband whom was good enough to give her a place to stay when she moved to florida. Then there is the matter of her boyfriend he drives around on are ptoperty jeperdisind are children on a revoked D.L. so woman please keep an eye out for are children and are husbands
