With out going into great detail, it is quite apparent that the individual who keeps writing the bad review, is not the quality of neighbor that the rest of us wants living at Marcus Pointe.

Let me guess, you were probably one of those great neighbors that walked their dog and never picked up after it. Or were you the guy who kept driving over the grass the keep from going thru the gate. Oh that's right you did not go trhu the gate becuase you lost or destroyed your card and were too cheap to buy a new one. Which by the way you were told when you signed your lease that you were responsible for it and if you lost it or damaged it, you would be charged for a new one.
No' This isn't you well, I'd be willing to bet that you probably have already moved out and left your apartment trashed!

One thing that all potential and current renters should realize is that in order to KEEP the apartments nice, there has to be a standard.

Did your apt. smell like urine when you moved into it' I would say it's a safe bet that it did not, the staff here works very hard for US!!! If you ever went into the office and talked to anyone in there you would realize that they do in fact do everything that they are allowed to do to help the residents who live here. Yes, rent has gone up, but so what' Rent has gone up in EVERY apt. community in Pensacola! It was not a crazy amount, and if you had taken the time to talk to the manager you would have found out they were only basing the increase on what the owner wants. Don't shoot the messenger!

The apts are very large in size and have a great clubhouse,fitness room, and swimming pool.

As Far as having problem yes, prior to November, I had some issues with getting things fixed. Again if you would talk to the staff, or read the newsletter(in which EVERYTHING you need to know about Marcus Pointe is in) you would have seen that the maintenance man had been in the hospital for more than a month.

Since Roger, that's one of the maintenance guys, has been there anything I have requested has been done that day. The staff has worked very hard to get the apts to feel like acomunity and you know what' It does. Do you even know any of the names of the people who work there'

You know what I would say to a potential renter' Just this, you get out of it what you put into it. As long as you pay your rent on time, talk to the staff and realize that they are working with us to make our home a better place, you'll love living at Marcus Pointe. Maybe if some of these disgruntled renters followed the rules, they would have had a better experience.

Could the staff write some of the reviews' Sure , but keep in mind that the same person could have written all of the bad reviews. Especially since this website doesn't check the email addresses to be sure that they aren't bogus!!! I don't agree. I have done nothing but pay my rent on time for the past two years and I have gotten nothing from the office staff. When I go by the office when they are supposedly there, I find no one. I would like to think that if you pay your rent on time every month for 2 years and you never have any complaints against you or cause any trouble, that they would be willing to work with you, but NO! So for you to say that everyone who is unhappy are the individuals not following the rules...I have to say you are wrong.
