Last May, my Fianc and I were looking for an apartment when we called Marcus point. The offered us such a great deal. They offered us free rent until July 1. So we could not turn that down since we loved the area. Well, everything changed once we moved in. We received late notices on our door for our free months rent. Not only did it happen one time but it happened two times. You figure they would learn.

We had a bottom story apartment and you could hear everything above us you could even hear the toilet flush! Our Air-conditioner flooded into our hall too. They soaked it up with a shop vac and we call them once the smell got bad and they would have someone else come out and fit it.

The cable company was horrible and I think the Internet went out so many times. My Husband and i (we got married in August) got tiered of it and we bought a home October 13, 2006. We broke our lease. We were willing to pay a 3000 fee to cancel the lease. The fee included our free month and some other fees that were waived. Also, we had to pay some key return fee of 495 dollars. But, we would rather pay that money then live there!

All I have to say is that I am glad we moved out!

Our last day was December 1, 2006 and we still have not received our deposit back. I am wondering when we will get it. I have called several times and they said it should be here within 4 weeks. Still no sign of our check.
