When I first moved to Meadowrun, I absolutely loved it. It was clean, kept up really well, and at the time they had a really great maintenance staff who even came and fixed my air conditioner at 2AM on his day off! Unfortunately, he quit because the office manager was so abusive towards him.



What I really disliked about the apartment complex was when they started charging for water used. Ok, I can deal with that, but they could never show me where the water meter was for my apartment AND the bill always came from and was paid to a company in California. The office management always gave the water meter being located either inside my hot water heater and/or in my telephone line. It was also funny that my single neighbor who had no children had just as high a water bill as my neighbors with three children. It was also ?funny? when a water main broke that EVERYONE had an unusually high water bill that month.



When we moved out of the apartment, the water company in California (and water bills for the rest of the Pensacola popoulation are paid locally here in Pensacola....not California) threatened to sue us because we didn?t pay our last water bill. When we pointed out that federal law mandated they had to give us a final meter reading (and since there was no meter, how in the hell they could read it was beyond me) they said not to worry that they would clear the last bill from our account.



No way would I recommend this as a place to live. It?s managed worse than an abusive nursing home!
