The management has some issues. One very nice respectful and cheerful lady, one with an awful attitude.

Let's get one thing straight, maintanence is an issue. I wouldn't say that actually needing maintanence is the problem, but the attitude about getting it, and the time it takes to have it done is the problem. It is not fair to say that the management is at fault for the time it takes to complete maintanence, or how it is carried out. After all, post hurricane repairs have been outrageous for all in Pensacola. However, if you report a maintanence problem, you may or may not be berated for reporting it. I have had mixed reviews from other residents, and some are completely pleased, and others have had the same problem I have. That's up to you, if you care about being spoken to in a RESPECTFUL way.

The apartments have great floor plans, good prices, the appliances are older, but I am sure that if they didn't work properly something would be done to fix the problem. The nice thing is the built in microwave because it doesn't take up space on the counter, and well, it's there. The property itself has been revamped recently, and is looking better and better. Still, it could use a little more lighting in the parking areas under trees, but it's not too bad.

As for some of the other reviews. It seems there is a lot of frustration from both sides. Not sure what happened with one of those...from a friend of a resident, but I had read that...who knows, maybe the problems really did exist for that person. Sometimes it is good to know the worst, and the best. I have done a lot of apartment hunting in my lifetime, and believe me, knowing the absolute worst that can happen prevents a lot of heartache and dissapointment. Problems happen for some. I am sure that nobody was out to make Meadowrun look bad, just because of one stupid thing. To that author, maybe you were, well, a little misguided, or you meant things differently.' But too each his own, right'

For me, well, I make a point now to stroke the managements ego a little, before launching into any maintanence requests. Maybe "kissing up" a little will get nicer responses back from the actual property manager. I probably won't renew my lease, but I have outgrown my apartment, need a more secure place (my fiancee is out of town a lot, and I work late sometimes), and I know it's shallow, but I hate dealing with all the traffic in Pensacola.
