I lived there for about a year. When my brother and I first came to their office to fill out some paper work the manager seemed like she had a spilt personality. She would be completly nice, then the next minute start talking to my brother like he was an idiot, she also spoke to us like she was some kind of GOD OF APARTMENTS...just plain weird. I had to move out after Ivan because my job was destroyed and my room had mildew damage. Although I left, my brother continued to live in our apartment. It took them 10 months to fix the mildew damage. Beside the fact that the repair took forever, the manager of this complex is awful, I truly grew a hatred for her, which for me was the first time I truly hated someone. I had to fix the brakes on my car but I ran out of day light (your not supposed to work on cars in the complex for more than a day) so I went to her office to ask her if it was OK that I finshed up with my car the next day early in the morning (most people wouldnt say a word to her) she told me that that was not acceptable an that she would have the car towed. I told her that she was being ridiculous, she then became very angry and threatned me with an eviction notice, I told her "Go ahead and do what you feel is best for your buisness but my car wont be fixed, I was trying to be a good tenant and let you know my situation and you are showing no compashion or understanding". The next morning I went to fix my car at 7:00 am, and there it was. An eviction notice, I was so pissed off I ate the thing, then 45 min later I had my car fixed.....nothing ever happend with the eviction notice, she is so full of herself it makes me sick just thinking about it (The manager here is a control freek that gets off on power trips with tenants) Some of my best friends lived there too and when they moved out she tried to charge them for carpet, paint, ect.....when the hurricane flooded the place....she is insane.

I too am having problems with this woman. I just recently moved out and she is trying to make us pay for new carpeting. The carpet was in great condition with the exception of the mold in the bedroom and closet that never got fixed. If anyone out there can tell me my rights in this and if any legal action can be taken please respond to this. Thank you

I know exactly what woman you are talking about. This woman is truly crazy. Someone please put her in the mental hospital!!
