I didn't... I moved to Meadowrun in July, even though reviewing all these suggestions and I thought that I wouldn't experience anything bad... well I was wrong. On arrival, my apartment smelt lime COMPLETE MOLD. I paged Emergency Maintence 8 times on Satuday, around 10 times on Sunday, finally paging them 911.... they told me after they called me back that they didn't accept long distance pages, bull----. So the Maintence people came, told us that the water heater was leaking everywhere. Who knows how long it was leaking, the place was wet and it smelt so awful. On Monday I went to the managment, all they said is that "the carpet is wet and we will de-molderize it with some shampoo". After replacing the water heater, washing the carpet, I noticed no difference. I asked to be moved to another apt because of the smell and the wet carpet was still there. They refused to replace the carpet, or put me somewhere else.
So I decided to move out. Management does not care about your needs. Best decision ever to move. Place does not look like photos, place is very run down. The only thing, I am lucky that we recieved security deposit and first months rent back. I hope who ever moved into that apt stood up and got that carpet replaced after hat smell.
And apparently someone was shot there a year ago. Sounds safe to me.
