When we moved in, the place was extremely dirty and smelled like cigarette smoke. The bathrooms were especially disgusting. One Sunday, the ceiling in the master bath began leaking very badly, and all the maintenance guy said was to let him know if it happened again. Also around that time, somebody broke into the apartment above us one evening. I was scared to be alone in the apartment for weeks after that. They apartment complex advertised tennis courts, a fitness romm and a pool....but the tennis court was delapidated, and the fitness room was eventually closed down because someone had vandalized the equipment and they didn't want to redo everything. The pool also had to be closed for a while because somebody threw glass in there.
Overall, I cannot imagine a worse place to live.
