The apartment is brand new and the staff and maintenance are very helpful and professional. BUT, it is built very poorly... you can hear EVERYTHING from all neighbors because the walls and floors are paper thin!!! The AC unit is extremely loud and annoying. I've seen many HUGE roaches since being here the past months, and tried my best to fight them off with pesticides. Different ones just come back overtime, I just killed one tonight which had WINGS!!! I can't wait to get out of this dump!

I live at Gateway Villas and I agree that you do hear your neighbors;however I have lived in many apartments and that is a part of apartment living. As far as calling this place a dump, I disagree, the community is brand new and very clean. As far as the bugs go, you live in Florida, we don't get a frost to kill insects in the winter. If you see a bug just call the office they offer pest control to us.

Florida living unfortunately brings unwanted pests.The worst could be snakes or scorpions or fruit rats or even bats.Alaska would be a good place to live bug free.
