I've lived here for almost a year (11 months) and fell in love with the place as an apartment. Unfortunately as a condo conversion I have higher expectations. The survey questions ask in terms of an apartment but the cost associated with ownership makes this a different issue. There are apartment like issues such as footstep noise, normal conversation level noise, the annoying detectors (which battery replacement doesn't fix every time), limited parking (or inconsiderate neighbors and guess to park wherever they deem good for them), etc. One tends to deal with those based on the affordability and flexibility of an apartment lifestyle. However the cost of condo ownership (compared to the local housing market) is too high. There is very little incentive to stay. I asked the management about the opportunity to negotiate and was told that the owner may consider it, but not willing to make significant considerations. Overall not a bad place but they could offer more to the current residents and future ones considering these were built to apartment building codes and not [true] condominiums. There is a significant difference; check with a lender, they??ll tell you.

I think it's a a joke that they're trying to sell them as condos. Apparently the rest of the Tampa Bay area does, too, considering they haven't even sold ONE!!
